Instructional Coach's Workshops

TPI’s Support Working Group recommended an induction framework and three year plan for supporting new teachers. After approval from the Coordinating Team, Teacher Education Advisory Council, Executive Teacher Education Council and Partner Superintendents, implementation of a first year induction program for new teachers, instructional coaches and principals began. Three of our partner school districts are involved in all aspects of the program: Holdingford, ROCORI and Sartell St. Stephen. Monticello, St. Cloud Area and Sauk Rapids-Rice will be sending their new teachers to afternoon workshops and hope to join the program fully next year. Four workshops for new teachers, instructional coaches and principals were held in August. Look below for a link to an article in the St. Cloud Times that highlights TPI and the induction program.
