This was the first New York hit for Greenberg, who won the 2003 Best Play Tony Award for Take Me Out. Eastern Standard explores the parallel development of two relationships, one gay and one straight, among hip young New York professionals. It is notable for Greenberg's witty dialogue and for its colorful characters.
