News and Auditions
Auditions for THE THREEPENNY OPERA will be held January 26 and 27 (with call-backs on the 28th) at 7:00 pm in the Center Stage, Performing Arts Center.
Wear clothing and shoes that allow you to move freely.
Prepare a short vocal selection. An accompanist will be provided. Supply your own sheet music. You may sing a capella but it is not recommended.
Students interested in any technical positions (set construction, costume construction, running crews, board operators, etc.) should check the call board for crew assignments and availablilites. We are always looking for volunteers.

Auditions for the Theatre Season usually follow this general guideline:
Fall productions are cast early in the fall semester, usually the first week of classes. The first Spring Semester production is cast either late in Fall Semester, or early in the Spring Semester. The final Spring Semester production is cast early in Spring Semester.
All SCSU students may participate in theatre activities, regardless of major. Opportunites are always available for technicians in the costume, scenic, lighting, running crew, and front of house areas. Contact the Theatre Program for more information.
Any student is encouraged to audition regardless of major. We particularly welcome a variety of types, ages, and ethnic backgrounds.
