News and Auditions
Auditions for the Fall 2009 season will be September 1 and 1 at 7:00 in the Arena Lobby (PAC 164). Preparation is recommended but not required. Scripts and audition materials can be obtained in the TFSD office (PAC 202). You need only attend one of the evenings and may audition for one or both productions. If needed, call-backs will be held Thursday Sept. 3.
On Wednesday September 2 at 5:00, the theatre program will be hosting an open house for all current and interested students. This will also be in the Arena Lobby (PAC 164)
Students interested in any technical positions (set construction, costume construction, running crews, board operators, etc.) should check the call board for crew assignments and availablilites. We are always looking for volunteers.

Auditions for the Theatre Season usually follow this general guideline:
Fall productions are cast early in the fall semester, usually the first week of classes. The first Spring Semester production is cast either late in Fall Semester, or early in the Spring Semester. The final Spring Semester production is cast early in Spring Semester.
All SCSU students may participate in theatre activities, regardless of major. Opportunites are always available for technicians in the costume, scenic, lighting, running crew, and front of house areas. Contact the Theatre Program for more information.
Any student is encouraged to audition regardless of major. We particularly welcome a variety of types, ages, and ethnic backgrounds.
