Student Film Showcase & Film Majors Meeting
Lest you think we're so enamored of our alums that we overlook our current students, note that we kicked off the semester with the first annual Student Film Showcase--a presentation of the best student filmmaking from the past year's production courses. A few days later we held what we hope will also become a tradition around here--an informational meeting (with food) for all film majors, minors, and wannabees. For those of you who missed it, the most important message was this: see your advisor early and often. In fact, get to know all of the film faculty. The better we know you as individuals the better we can advise you and help you succeed at this university and beyond.
