New Course: Acting For the Camera
Of interest to both film and theatre students is our new offering, Acting For the Camera, taught by stage, screen, and Superbowl-commercial thespian (and SCSU Theatre alum) John Elsen. Our other fall courses are Melodrama, Advanced Production, Documentary, Comic Book Cinema, The Films of Pedro Almodovar, Film Theory, Film History I, International Cinema, Film & Culture, and The Art of Film. The latter class is being guest-taught by a 2000 graduate of our program, Ruth Wollersheim, who is finishing up her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
