Alum's film wins "Best Drama" in LA. Next Stop: Cannes
This September the New York Independent & International Film Festival held a shindig in Los Angeles (go figure) where the award for best dramatic feature went to SCSU film alum Ben Swan for his directorial debut, Almost Destiny. The film tells the story of a group of people in their mid-twenties undergoing "quarter-life" crises. Ben recently signed with a distributer/broker who has wrangled a place for his film on the schedule at the film market at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival! See details at www.nyfilmvideo.com.
