Eva is in charge of the production side of the film program. She is a filmmaker herself, with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Mass Communication and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts degree in Film Studies from Zurich University, Switzerland. Her films include Past Impending, Harmony of Fleeting Fish, West Coast Turnaround, No Place Like Home, and Star Tiger.
Eva came to SCSU with experience teaching classes in film production (super8, 16mm sync and non-sync, and digital video), animation production (traditional as well as 2D and 3D computer animation), and film history and analysis. She acted as Director of the Big Muddy Film Festival at Southern Illinois University, and was responsible for programming, film ordering and projection for the student film club at Zurich University. Field-related professional experience includes internships with Cineric in New York, Warner Brothers in Switzerland, and MPH Entertainment in Los Angeles. She also held positions as a film projectionist and translator.
