Tracy Vacura began teaching ballet and modern dance technique at St. Cloud State University in 2004. In addition to teaching a variety of academic dance courses, Tracy co-directs the Repertory Dance Theater with April Sellers, creating modern dance, jazz and ballet choreography for the annual concert. Under their leadership, the RDT company adjudicated a modern dance piece choreographed by Vacura at the American College Dance Festival in Milwaukee in 2007.
Tracy earned her Masters of Fine Art in Choreography at the University of Iowa and her BFA in Philosophy at Minnesota State University—Mankato. She currently teaches dance and gymnastics in Minneapolis. Tracy's choreography has been performed by Company Northcrest at the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud, as well as the Zenon Scholarship Program, St. Cloud State University’s Repertory Dance Theater, and the Minnesota Fringe Festival.
