Pam Plagge received her BA in Dance from St. Olaf College. Her dance training includes modern, ballet, West African, AfroHaitian, Latin dance, somatics, and choreography. She has studied with the Liz Lerman Dance Company, Anna Halprin, and the Urban Bush Women. In the summer of 2005, she spent a month in Havana, Cuba studying AfroCuban dance and salsa with two professional dance companies.

Ms. Plagge was a dance educator for the Minneapolis Public Schools for seven years. She has been an independent dance choreographer and performer in the Twin Cities for the past eleven years. Her work has been presented at venues such as the Walker Art Center, the Red Eye Theater, the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater, and as part of the MN Fringe Festival. She also has performed the choreography of April Sellers, Laurie Van Wieren, and Gerry Giroaurd. Under the direction of William Atchouelou of the Ivory Coast, she was a member of Kotou Danse, a dance company that performed traditional and contemporary African dance and percussion at schools, arts festivals, corporate events, and at theaters in the Twin Cities.
