Justin Jones
Adjunct Professor of Dance
Justin Jones is a choreographer, sound designer and dancer. His choreography has been seen at Bryant Lake Bowl, CBGBs, Galpagos Arts Space, The Gershwin Hotel, The Knitting Factory, The Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater @ Symphony Space, LaMama Etc., Patrick's Cabaret, The Red Eye, The Theater at the Riverside Church and Ur (a dance palace in Williamsburg Brooklyn).
In 2003 he received the NYFA Fellowship for Performance Art for his work with long time collaborator Chris Yon with whom he co-produced co-curated and co-hosted the Chris and Justin Medicine Show, a neo-vaudevillian cabaret from 2000-2003. He designs sound for dance and theater, his collaborators have included Ivy Baldwin, Genevieve Bennett, Chris Schlicting and Chris Yon. He has danced in the choreography of Chris Schlicting, Tere O'Connor, Nick Leichter, Kara Tatelbaum, Billy Siegenfeld and Robin Lakes.
