On Thursday, January 8, in partnership with President Earl H. Potter III, Provost Michael Spitzer, the Center for Continuing Studies, the Center for Information Systems, and Learning Resources & Technology Services, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will host TECH DAY ‘09 in Atwood Memorial Center.

TECH DAY ‘09 is an opportunity for faculty and staff to connect with colleagues and to explore the problems and possibilities related to the role of technology in teaching and learning at St. Cloud State University.

We will kick-off the morning with a great breakfast, followed by interactive sessions that will focus on uses of technology. We will reconvene just before lunch for the main keynote address by Dr. Chuck Dziuban, professor emeritus, College of Education at the University of Central Florida, who will speak on the topic of "Technology Enhanced Learning: Opportunities and Challenges."

The afternoon will be designed to foster open dialogue about technology: where we are, where we might want to go, and what we need to get there. Conversations about these questions and the issues to which they apply will be important and valuable contributions to the vision for technology development and use at St. Cloud State.

Please join us for TECH DAY '09 and in creating a conversation about the meaning of technology at SCSU!
