Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

Fall Convocation activities are held during the week before classes begin in August each year. It is a time for us to kick off our theme for the year, welcome our newly hired faculty members through a special orientation, and bring faculty who have signed up for our year-long initiatives together as a community of scholars. We invite exemplary faculty to show case their teaching and discuss what makes their courses tick. CETL also coordinates with other units to conduct informational sessions on various topics related to matters of interest at SCSU.
