Football player is an ad man

Ramon Núñez ’00 came to St. Cloud State University to play for the football team. But, he kept his eye on another ball.
“I was looking for a broadcast department that was accredited and would give me the knowledge and experience I needed. St. Cloud was able to bring that on the table,” he said.
At St. Cloud State, Núñez earned an NCAA National Leadership Conference Award for talking with juveniles about post-jail opportunities and working with children at a summer camp.
After graduation he was hired by Fallon Worldwide, an international, award-winning advertising agency. In 2005, he joined Minneapolis-based Colle+McVoy as an executive producer of the Broadcast Department, managing TV, radio, video and branded-content projects.
Following his time with Colle+McVoy, Núñez served as lead producer for Chicago-based DRAFTFCB, working with national clients such as Motorola and MillerCoors.
Today, he is the senior integrated producer for Crispin Porter+Bogusky, Boulder, Colo., a national firm whose clientsz include Microsoft, Best Buy and Kraft Foods.
Núñez produced two documentary films called "Lotology" and "Invisible to You." The latter is a film about homeless young people.
