NON-SCSU Program Options
The Center for International Studies and St. Cloud State University attempt to develop programs across the globe and with regards to several different majors and minors. However, we realize we cannot meet the interests of all students and we therefore encourage students to seek out and apply to accredited programs offered through other Universities.
Any SCSU student that is going on a program that is NOT offered through our office will receive a NON-SCSU Study Abroad Program packet. An SCSU student who wants to study with a program offered through another accredited U.S. university or AustraLearn, for example, needs to fill out the NON-SCSU Application.
The internet is home to several different search engines that are beneficial to searches. Furthermore, the Resource Room located in Lawrence Hall rm 110 is fully equipped with literature and peer advisors who can assist you in your search. Affiliated NON-SCSU programs include:
- College Consortium for International Studies - CCIS offers over 80 Study Abroad programs in 31 countries. Multi-level language offerings, full on-site support, competetive costs, and the opportunity to stay with a host family are some of the main points of this program.
- AustraLearn - AustraLearn provides students with study abroad opportunities in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific at the college/university level. Students may study abroad for a semester or year, participate in a short-term summer program, or complete a high quality internship.
- Institute of International Education Passport - IIEPassport has the study abroad programs that will allow you to achieve true learning. Offers options for study abroad programs and scholarships.
- MNSCU Sister Schools - Student may participate in study abroad programs offered through other accredited universities. Students will pay the rates at the host university and not their home university tuition. Credits earned at MNSCU sister schools are automatically transferable to SCSU: school include: Bemidji State, Winona State, Moorhead State, and MSU-Mankato
