Going Fishing - Andrea Carlson

Essay:

This photo what taken in Ghana, which is in West Africa. In this fishing village on the Cape Coast, many of the local residents depend on what they catch for survival. What they don't use for food, they sell. The fishermen build their own boats by hand. The women are usually responsible for repair of the nets. Here the fishermen are loading their boats and getting their gear ready to head out to sea.
