Essay:
Kakum National Park in Ghana is one of only four parks in the world where you can walk among the treetops in a
tropical rainforest. Connected by a series of suspension bridges, this park was truly unique experience. Seven rope
bridges of vary heights and lengths took you around the park where you could see and hear a variety of wildlife.
However, I was too busy looking straight forward to notice much more than the sound of the birds. This photo allows
you to feel what it was like to walk across narrow planks with only a rope railing for support. It was eerie when two
people were on the bridge at once because it would start to sway and bounce up and down. As much fun as it was, it was
still a relief to reach the platform. Kakum National Park was my favorite experience in Ghana, and I love this picture
because it reminds of the beautiful scenery and exhilarating feel of walking through the treetops of a rainforest.
