Ashley David EvansKacey (Evans ’03) and I met during our study abroad trip summer of 2003. We became best friends throughout our journey. We sat together during class and always hung out together during the field trips. We also used to chase the sheep together and pub crawl together. We just clicked. The last week we were there, we told each other the feelings we had developed for each other during the trip, and then we immediately started dating. We even had our first kiss under the stars in the castle courtyard. It was just like a fairy tale. Everyone knew we would end up getting married before we did. We always wondered if we would meet that "special someone" on the trip. We never thought it would have happened within our group. We got married February 17th of this year and going on our honeymoon to Rome March 24th. We are so happy together and look forward to traveling back to England for the reunion trip this summer.
