Student Life: Living in University Housing

Living in University Housing

Where you’ll live in your new world at St. Cloud State University is one of the most important decisions you’ll make.

St. Cloud State University has 10 residential communities; each one has its own personality and appeal – from gender-based floors to co-ed floors, traditional residence halls to apartment-type living. You’ll be surrounded by about 3,000 people who are going through – or have gone through – what you're experiencing. Maybe you’ll live with someone from your hometown in Minnesota – or maybe your neighbor will be from one of more than 80 nations.

In university housing, you’re within a short walk of your classes so you’ll have easier access to faculty members, the library, academic resources, recreation facilities, sporting events and clubs and organizations. And an extra bonus: students who live in university housing perform better academically.
