Community Service
Serve the World
Service to others is an important part of your St. Cloud State education. Caring for people in need, protecting the environment, tutoring young people – the volunteer opportunities are many. To gain while you give, contact our Volunteer Connection office.
Ways to volunteer:
- Check out a listing of more than 90 local agencies. Choose an agency and then contact its volunteer coordinator.
- Scan the Volunteer Connection Service Bulletin. You can have it e-mailed directly to you by e-mailing volunteer@stcloudstate.edu.
- Join the Peer Educator Program in our Gender Violence Resources Office.
- Join Husky Helpers, a student organization that promotes service
opportunities. Weekly meetings are held at Atwood
Memorial Center.
“I volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club, and I love it. I’m helping students from Somalia with their homework – and I’m learning a lot. It’s been amazing and has made me want to help more and continue volunteering in college.”
