The Office of Student Life and Development provides the functional supervision of the following major areas and programs: American Indian Center, Academic Learning Center, Atwood Center, Career Services, Center for Student Organizations and Leadership Development, Counseling and Psychological Services , Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Services, Health Services, Lindgren Child Care Center, Multicultural Student Services, Residential Life, Sports Facilities and Campus Recreation, Student Disability Services, University Programming, Volunteer Connection, Women's Center, and University Judicial Affairs.
Student Life and Development (SLD), in support of the University mission, is committed to the creation of a dynamic environment which enhances the development of the whole student.
Student Life and Development has a significant role in building and maintaining the learning environment for the SCSU community. SLD believes that students are the primary consumer group in the SCSU community and that they have the right to expect high quality services.
