Health Services provides medical care and health education so that students can achieve and maintain optimum health, complete their educational goals with a minimum of interruptions and enjoy their future lives in good health.

The medical clinic is staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, medical lab technicians, a pharmacist, and support staff. The clinic provides diagnosis and treatment for illness and injuries, routine physical and GYN exams, allergy injections, and private consultations for personal health concerns. Health information and activities that encourage and assist students in developing and maintaining healthy habits are provided. All services are consistent with the goals of higher education to encourage student development and improve student capabilities to function productively both in college and throughout life.

All current SCSU students may use the services.

Medical records:

All medical records are confidential. Upon graduation or withdrawal from SCSU, your medical record remains at the health service for seven years and is then destroyed. At no time does it become part of your grade transcript or any other part of your university record.
