Partnership Annual Report 2001-2002
In light of the “Leave No Child Behind” initiatives supported by President George W. Bush, it is critical that Colleges of Education work even more closely with school and community partners than in the past. The SCSU College of Education has been closely involved with our partner schools especially within the last decade. Because of the importance of documenting our current efforts and to more accurately reflect the breadth of the activities currently underway, a special detailed survey of faculty partnership activities will be conducted during fall, 2002. This survey will allow the documentation of both formal and informal activities of the faculty and staff. Information from this survey will be added to the 2001/2002 Partnership Report on a retrospective basis. Additional information concerning 2002/2003 will be collected near the end of spring term, 2003.
