International Speakers in Classes Faculty were encouraged to have international faculty and/or students as guests in their education classes anytime during the spring term, but particularly during Global Education week.
Fifteen faculty from 7 departments reported that they had invited international speakers during their regular class times. In addition, there were approximately 12 presentations to classes by the Moldovan exchange faculty during spring term.
Community Efforts The Human Relations Department deserves special recognition for their efforts during global education week. In addition to conducting numerous campus teach-ins that addressed global concerns, they also sponsored several workshops. They also expanded their efforts to provide a series of activities that were held in St. Cloud South Junior High.
