Student Information
Today’s world has become inseparably interconnected. Students today need to be skilled and knowledgeable about the world, world issues and the challenges that confront the global, interdependent community. Intercultural competencies developed through international experiences promote your ability to understand critical cross-cultural global perspectives in our local environments.
Through international
partnerships with universities across the globe, the School of Education
provides opportunities to student teach or complete interships abroad, participate
in a short-term education-abroad program, or learn abroad for a semester through
First Year Experiences. We realize that travel and learning and teaching
experiences with indigenous, intercultural, and international activities
holds intrinsic value for student development.
Go global- think local...teach local- think global!
