Letter from the Department Chair
Greetings,
The school year has progressed to its ultimate conclusion, and we made it through another one. Both the BSW Program and MSW Program are operating, admitting, and graduating students.
This summer we hope to be updating our department’s website, to make it more informative and easier for the community to access. This fall the Community Relations Committee surveyed social workers in Central Minnesota about their interests in collaborating with our department. Various efforts are being considered, but it will begin in April with social workers from Sherburne County coming to present a workshop for students and staff, and continue with our department offering a workshop on Practice Evaluation for area social workers.
The Alumni Relations Committee sponsored a gathering at MSSA in March, and is planning morning coffees with CEU’s in St. Cloud in the future.
I look forward to catching up with various projects over the summer, and invite you to come and visit.
