Heather Hackman’s research involves training in-service educators on how to challenge and ultimately dismantle issues of race, racism, white privilege and white supremacy. After two years of work, she is submitting a book prospectus in fall 2008. In January 2008 Hackman submitted a book prospectus to Routledge (with Warren Blumenfeld) addressing LBGT issues in multicultural education.
