Student Leadership Award
Evelyne Benie
One of the prime reasons Evelyne Benie decided to get involved in the clubs was to improve her knowledge and fluency in spoken and written English. Later, she discovered that her participation in these organizations helped immensely to not only to build her leadership and organizational skills but also to be a voice of the SCSU student community. Evelyne was elected senator at large Student Government in fall 2004 and became vice president of the Partnership to Advance Cultural Exchange in spring 2006. She has been treasurer of the Career Development Council since fall 2008.
