Tips For Finding A Job Both On and Off Campus
- If you are interested in off campus positions, visit www.scsustudentjobs.com. Positions are available to browse through 24 hours a day and are updated often.
- Carefully review job requirements. Only apply if you are interested in the position, meet the minimum requirements and can work the hours listed.
- Make sure your resume is up to date and accurate. The Career Services Center has staff available to help you with your resume and interviewing skills.
- Don't be afraid to call a few days after submitting your application to check the status.
- If you are interested in on campus positions and you do not qualify for work study through financial aid, you should choose departments on campus that you are interested in working at. Call or visit their office to ask for an application and inquire if they are hiring. On campus positions are not usually posted on www.scsustudentjobs.com.
