Undergraduate Admissions

Current PSEO Students

We’re delighted you’ve decided to continue your participation in the PSEO program!
Each semester students continuing in the PSEO program must submit a new Notice of Registration form. This is to be completed by the student, their guardian (if under 18) and the high school guidance counselor. This form must be returned to the Admissions Office before the start of the semester. Students will be unable to register without receipt of the Notice of Registration form, available here.

DrawingEligibility
Students participating in the PSEO program must maintain a cumulative SCSU GPA of 2.0 or better to remain active in the program. Students who fail to meet the 2.0 cumulative GPA requirement must make arrangements to return to their high school to complete their education.

Registration
PSEO students register for classes after regularly enrolled degree seeking students and new incoming students. Continuing students will be informed of upcoming registration dates through their HuskyNet.  PSEO students continuing in the program will register for Fall 2008 courses on August 15th, 2008 at 2:00 PM.

Students participating in the PSEO program at SCSU are eligible to register for most 100 and 200 level courses. These courses are designed for first and second year students and are generally introductory or general education courses. Students wishing to enroll in 300 or 400 level courses must secure special permission from the PSEO coordinator and the faculty member.

Restricted Courses
PSEO students are restricted from taking developmental  courses (listed below 100 level), independent study, self-paced courses, and certain College of Business courses. Students wishing to enroll in online courses should contact the PSEO Team for further details regarding limited online course enrollment.

*PSEO students enrolling in developmental courses (listed below 100 level) will be responsible for the entire cost of such courses – tuition, fees, textbooks and other related costs. The PSEO program does not cover registration in these courses.

Housing
PSEO students may live on campus on a space-available basis. Please contact the Office of Residential Life for a housing application. Please note that housing costs are not covered by the PSEO program and are the sole responsibility of the student. PSEO students living in campus housing are held to the same policies and procedures as degree-seeking students.
