Spring Registration
All PSEO students will begin registration for spring courses on Wednesday, November 25 at 1:30 PM. New students must have attended an orientation session prior to registration; current students must have submitted a new Notice of Student Registration form or a hold will be in place on their accounts.
Students enrolling in 300/400 level courses must submit a permission form with their instructor's signature. Forms are available from the Admissions Office (AS 115).
Eligibility
Students participating in the PSEO program must maintain a cumulative SCSU GPA
of 2.0 or better to remain active in the program. Students who fail to meet the
2.0 cumulative GPA requirement must make arrangements to return to their high
school.
Registration
PSEO students register for classes after regularly enrolled degree seeking
students and new incoming students.
Students participating in the PSEO program at SCSU are eligible to register
for most 100 and 200 level courses. These courses are designed for first
and second year students and are generally introductory or general education
courses. Students registering for 300 or 400 level courses must complete
special permission forms.
Each semester students continuing in the PSEO program must submit a new Notice of Registration form. This is to be completed by the student, their guardian (if under 18) and the high school guidance counselor. This form must be returned to the Admissions Office before students are allowed to register. Students will be unable to register without a new Notice of Student Registration Form (pdf) for each semester they are enrolled in the PSEO program.
Restricted Courses
PSEO students are restricted from taking developmental courses (listed
below 100 level) and independent study courses. Students wishing to enroll in online courses should
contact the PSEO Team for further details regarding limited online course
enrollment.
*PSEO students enrolling in developmental courses
(listed below 100 level) will be responsible for the entire cost of such
courses – tuition, fees, textbooks and other related costs. The PSEO
program does not cover registration in these courses.
Housing
PSEO students may live on campus on a space-available basis. Please contact
the Office of Residential Life for a housing application. Please note that
housing costs are not covered by the PSEO program
and are the sole responsibility of the student. PSEO students living in
campus housing are held to the same policies and procedures as degree-seeking
students.
Dining on Campus
PSEO students may purchase on-campus meal plans, use Campus Cash, or cash/check/debit
card to purchase meals and refreshments on campus. These costs are not
covered by the PSEO program.
Transportation
PSEO students may purchase parking permits from the SCSU Public Safety Office
for SCSU lots on a space available basis. Students may also purchase City
of St. Cloud street permits. Please note other transportation options include
off-campus parking, parking in campus pay lots, or utilizing the Metro
Bus Program in St. Cloud, free for SCSU students with a campus ID card.
Please note parking and transportation costs are not covered by the PSEO
program and are the responsibility of the student.

PSEO students can take advantage of the many great opportunities available
for SCSU students, with few exceptions. Students are eligible to join
student clubs and organizations, utilize the learning resource center and
other academic resources, as well as the student union and campus recreation
activities.
Grades & Transcripts
As a convenience to you, the Office of Admissions will submit your official SCSU transcripts to your
high school after grades are posted each semester. Students may access
their grades online through the online e-Services website. Remember that
the courses you take through the PSEO program will become part of your
official academic record.
