Undergraduate Admissions

Transfer Student Scholarships

St. Cloud State University awards a limited number of scholarships to incoming transfer students with strong academic credentials. Transfer students should demonstrate achievement with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Transfer students who are admitted to the University prior to March 15 will be considered for an academic scholarship.

To be considered for additional scholarship opportunities, which include PTK and Alumni Scholarships, students must complete a Foundation-Sponsored Scholarship Application. Foundation-Sponsored Scholarship Applications will be available on September 15.

Non-resident tuition scholarships

Non-Resident Tuition Scholarships are awarded to students who do not otherwise qualify for in-state or reciprocity tuition. Recipients pay the equivalent of in-state tuition. Transfer applicants must provide evidence of a 3.0 GPA in all college work (minimum of 24 transferrable credits) to qualify.
