Financing your Education
Our competitive tuition, priced
significantly lower than comparable private institutions and public universities, is a key part of your
smart investment in a global education.
The estimated costs for tuition, fees, room, board, books and supplies will total $13,546 for most students enrolled in the 2009-2010 academic year. Keep in mind:
- Costs are based on 15 credits per semester and a Husky
Anytime unlimited
food contract.
- Two academic semesters plus optional summer sessions constitute the academic
year.
- Personal and travel expenses can vary, but should be considered.
- Cost increases should be expected for each academic year.
- The following are estimates and are subject to change.

Did you know?
- About 74 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid annually.
- Each year, we offer more than $100 million in need-based
aid through scholarships, grants, loans and student
work opportunities.
- Students from all income levels qualify for some type of financial aid.
- Some programs require students to show financial need; others do not.
- Financial need is determined using a federal formula when you complete
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- St. Cloud State has reciprocity agreements with other states,
enabling students from some states to attend St. Cloud State at comparable
in-state tuition.
