We are one of Minnesota’s Concurrent Enrollment Programs (MnCEP).
Senior to Sophomore
St. Cloud State University partners with 30-plus high schools to allow eligible students to earn college credit in their high school classrooms.
Some students earn enough credits to begin their first year of college as a sophomore. We are an alternative to the on-campus Post-Secondary Enrollment Option Program.
We pair a highly trained high school teacher with a university faculty member who ensures the rigor and integrity of the course.
Our Senior to Sophomore students learn college-level skills in critical thinking, writing, research and course management that help the transition to college. They also:
- earn college credits while meeting high school graduation requirements.
- enroll in classes right on their high school campus and avoid competing for space in classes.
- have more opportunity to select advanced courses.
- have access to the university's academic advisors, library, email and internet.
- may be able to graduate from college sooner.
Contact Susan Jordahl, interim program director, for specific information or to find out how to participate.
