For information on living in this exciting new environment, go to the St. Cloud State web site at www.stcloudstate.edu/reslife/CobornPlaza.asp and request the application form or call us at 320-308-2166. Please know that your application will not be complete until receipt of your $200 pre-payment and $50 non-refundable application fee. Being developed by a private enterprise, the University will lease the completed housing facility from the Wedum Foundation of Alexandria, MN., which will own the structure. Additional phases of the $100 million overall development are also planned and will include more first-floor retail and upper floor apartment-style housing targeted at young professionals.
The Fifth Avenue Live! project and Coborn Plaza is the initial phase of a four-phase effort to make Fifth Avenue a main corridor unifying the St. Cloud State campus and the downtown. On the north end will be an expanded St. Cloud Civic Center at St. Germain Street, and the south end of campus will be anchored by the National Hockey and Event Center.

"I applied to live at Coborn Plaza Apartments because they are apartments...and because they are still on campus living. I am most excited for the single room and single bathroom in the apartments, and I am excited to have people over because it will be more welcoming and like a home. If there is a fellow student who is undecided about living at Coborn Plaza Apartments I would tell them that the benefits out weigh the costs"
