
Members of the Global Learning Community will have the opportunity to:
- Expand your global perspective by interacting with students from over 80 countries,
- Meet with the Foreign Language faculty and take classes in the building where you live,
- Thrive in an atmosphere where difference are celebrated and be provided with opportunities for creative learning,
- Support other international activities, programs, and events on campus,
- And be assisted in your transition to college life as well as any education-abroad program you may choose
Members of the Global Learning Community will be expected to:
- Help plan and participate in hall/community activities and events,
- Personalize the community by helping to decorate individual doors and bulletin boards, designing t-shirts and community logos,
- Possess an openness to diverse individuals and cultures,
- And become involved in developing community standards and planning the future of the Global Learning Community
Learning Outcomes
- A better understanding of other cultures and diverse people,
- A foundation of Social Justice and the importance of equality,
- An understanding for how to plan, market, and implement events for college students and the community
