As part of the academic reorganization, the Dean’s Office functions have been redesigned and distributed across three professional support positions in each autonomous college and school. These positions were identified as part of the reorganization process in an effort to both ensure service delivery with the elimination of the Associate Dean positions and to build capacity and improve service to our students in key strategic areas, such as enrollment and retention and experiential learning.
Until the professional support positions are finalized and filled (approximately January 2012), an interim structure has been developed to provide support and administrative coverage for critical student support and management functions. The coverage varies by college or school. The contact person for each functional area by school is outlined below, with responsibility for decisions remaining with the Dean.
