Alumni Gathering

I-O program alumni, current students, and faculty came together in Minneapolis on March 26, 2013 for the first alumni gathering. This was a great opportunity to socialize with alumni and gave students the opportunity to discuss their current interests and future careers in the field of I-O Psychology.

Farewell

The I-O program said their final farewell to Camila and Tania, the I-O International Exchange Students from Chile. Before departure, they received a Certificate to American Industrial Psychology. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Video Conference

I-O students participated in a video conference with psychology club students from the University of Minnesota Duluth. The discussion centered on topics such as the field of I-O Psychology, applying to graduate school, making the adjustment from undergrad, study tips, and preparing for the GRE. I-O students also reflected on their personal experiences of the application process.

Cultural Awareness Night

Dr. Protolipac and students volunteered at Living Waters Church in Sauk Rapids for "Cultural Awareness Night". The event focused on providing school-age children with a cultural experience from which they sampled an array of international cuisines and learned about diversity in its many forms. I-O students prepared various dishes including Strawberry Lassi (India), Morrocan Couscous (Northern Africa), Tamales (Mexico), Bruschetta (Italy), and many more.
