University minimum requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree with a psychology major are:

  • 120 credits overall
  • 40 credits in liberal education with credits distributed in the 10 goal areas with nine credits in diversity.
  • 1 credit in PESS 122
  • 45 credits in upper division (300-400) courses
  • 30 credits overall in residence at SCSU of which 15 credits are SCSU psychology credits.
  • 2.00 GPA overall and in the major.  GPA requirements may be different for minors or other majors.
