St. Cloud State University President Roy H. Saigo announced he will retire June 30, 2007, and a search for the next president was initiated with approval at the September 2006 meeting of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees.
Representatives from the Office of the Chancellor held meetings on campus
with faculty, 
administrators, staff and students to discuss the search
process following presidential
search guidelines (PDF) listed and
MnSCU Board Policy
4.2. The Office of the Chancellor has engaged the executive search
firm, Greenwood and Associates, Inc., to assist the Search Advisory Committee
in recruitment and evaluation of candidates to fill sthis position.
The Search Advisory Committee will use this website to keep all interested parties informed about the presidential search process.
