Planetarium

The SCSU Planetarium Staff Welcomes You!

In 1973, the planetarium was opened to SCSU students and the community. This past year we did over 150+ shows presented to over 7000 people. The SCSU Planetarium has proven to be a unique educational facility that strives to educate university students and the people of central Minnesota regarding the natural world above them.

September 17, 2007, we finalized the installation of the brand new planetarium system. With this new system comes more diversified shows with more stars, constellations, motions, lights, and special effects!
