The SCSU Planetarium Staff Welcomes You!
In 1973, the planetarium was opened to SCSU students and the community. There are now 100+ shows presented to over 4000 people each year. The SCSU Planetarium has proven to be a unique educational facility that strives to educate university students and the people of central Minnesota about the natural world above them.
September 17, 2007, we finalized the installation of the brand new planetarium system. With this new system comes more diversified shows with more stars, constellations, motions, lights, and special effects!
