Student Lots (Yellow Signs)

All student parking lots will require a permit displayed from the rearview mirror in the vehicle.
2008-2009 permits will be valid through the end of 1st Summer Session, July 10, 2009
2009-2010 permits will be valid beginning 2nd Summer Session, July 13, 2009
**Permits cannot be transferred to another individual for the summer as this will be considered a fraudulent permit.**

Students Who Need to Purchase a Summer Permit and Cost

  • Students enrolled spring semester 2009 and did not purchase a 2008-09 SCSU parking permit
  • Students not intending to purchase a 2009-2010 SCSU parking permit
  • Students planning to attend SCSU only for the summer
  • For those wishing to purchase only a Summer Permit, the cost is $50.00.

4th Avenue Ramp Parking

Our newly constructed 4th Avenue Parking Ramp is now open and we encourage students, visitors and community members to utilize ramp. The fee is $1.00/hour. If you go to the St. Cloud State University Campus Map website you will find vital information regarding the ramp, location and pertinent information.

Pay Lots

All Pay Lots are Enforced 52 Weeks of the Year.

Employee Lots (Red Signs)

There are no changes in the enforcement of employee lots.  Employee lots are enforced 52 weeks of the year.  If an employee does not have a SCSU parking permit, a Summer Permit may be purchased for $50.00 or Pay Lots may be used.

Conferences, Camps, Continuing Studies Events, Overnight Visitors, etc.

We encourage summer visitors to park in our newly opened 4th Avenue Parking Ramp. For week-long conferences, surface parking will be available at a fee of $5.00 per day. Please call Public Safety at 320-308-3453 if you expect to host a large conference or meeting on campus. Public Safety personnel will determine available parking for the event. Please remember that due to construction on campus, we are losing some surface parking.

K Lot

Parking will be free in K Lot during the summer.  Please remember that bus service is not available.

Hours of Enforcement

Employee, Pay Lots and Commuter Student Lots
Monday – Thursday:  7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday:  7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Student Resident Lots (Yellow “A” and “E” Lot Signs) – Overnight Permit Required
Enforced: 3:00 pm Sunday through 3:00 pm Friday
                                                           
Signed Areas (15 minute, disability, fire lane, maintenance vehicles only, etc.)
Enforced 24 hours, 7 days-a-week.
