OIR Mission
The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) reports institutional and contextual data to help St. Cloud State University and its stakeholders better understand the environment in which it operates and the students that it serves. OIR collects, analyzes, reports, and facilitates the use of data and information, for the purpose of continuously improving SCSU’s academic, operational, and administrative programs. Although top priority is given to projects requested by the president and the provost, the staff consults on and supports research and assessment projects across the university. OIR staff also participate on important university committees including Academic Assessment, Enrollment Management, and Strategic Planning, and support budget and planning by forecasting enrollment.

Data Request Form
Please use this online Data Request form to request data from OIR. For simple data requests, every effort will be made to provide the requested data within a week. However, depending upon the complexity of the data request and the need to obtain permission for the release of the data, it may take longer. We will contact you if the nature of your request requires more than a week to process.
