Faculty Improvement Grants: Short-Term

Round 2: March 15, 2012 by 4:30 p.m.

Spending Timelines
Short-term grants are generally spent during the current fiscal year which ends June 30.

Supported Activities
Short-term grant awards support the following expenses related to non-credit workshops or training programs 1 to 14 days in length.

  • Registration fees
  • Travel
  • Per Diem

Short-term grant awards do not support attendance at annual meetings or professional conferences. The Faculty Association requires that expenses be documented in all grant applications: include quotes from travel agents and program brochures stating all costs.

Maximum amount awardable is $3,000 per application.

Final Report: Please prepare and submit a final report to the Office of Sponsored Programs within two months of completing your short-term grant. Word | PDF
