External Grants and Contracts: Getting Approval for Your Grant/Contract
Before any grant or contract proposal may be submitted to an external agency, the transmittal form must be completed and forwarded--along with a copy of the proposal--to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) in AS210. Only those with delegated authority (i.e. President, Provost, Assistant Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs) are authorized to sign agreements with external agencies and the transmittal form is the process used for obtaining such a signature.
