Policy/Purpose
SCSU holds an Air Emission Permit issued by MPCA. The purpose of the permit is to identify all federal and state air quality rules that apply to the campus. The permit also contains air pollution limits for each significant emission source, defines allowable hourly and annual throughputs, and consolidates monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
SCSU holds Title V Federal Operating Permit. This air emission permit which includes standard reporting and recordkeeping requirements, permit amendments for the installation/modification of new equipment and processes.
