During Welcome Weekend, we welcome parents and family members to campus to support your students in their transition to SCSU. Activities have been created especially for you, but you're also welcome to explore campus, ask questions and help your student settle into life as a Husky.

Join advisors and staff from around campus to adjust your student's class schedule, answer questions about majors, colleges & schools at SCSU in a relaxed environment. Family & friends are welcome to attend to connect with support on campus to make your student's first semester a successful one!

Join a seasoned accounting professor to learn what students needs to know about budgeting their money, finances as a college student & more!

Explore Your World: Study Abroad!

Hear from SCSU students who have studied, interned or done student teaching abroad and staff from the Education Abroad office. Discover how study abroad can fit into your student's career at SCSU & what opportunities are available to fund international experiences!

Our student-only programming for Orientation/Welcome Weekend begins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.
We ask that families find time to say goodbye before this time.
