Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research reports institutional and contextual data to help St. Cloud State University and its stakeholders better understand the environment in which it operates and the students that it serves. The office collects, analyzes and reports official university statistics and manages certain institutional research projects requested by the executive staff. The staff also participates on important university committees including Academic Assessment, Enrollment Management and Strategic Planning and supports budget and planning by forecasting enrollment.
Reports issued by this office are available at this Web site, including interactive reports that are updated continuously from the campus database as well as static research reports on student enrollment, retention, program completion, university staffing etc.
Data Request Form
Please
use this online form to request data from the Institutional Research
Office. For
simple data requests, every effort will be made to provide the requested
data within a week. However, depending upon the complexity of the
data request and the need to obtain permission for the release of the
data, it may take longer. We will contact you if the nature of your
request requires more than a week to process.
