Mission
The Office of Cultural Diversity develops and manages programs for the purpose of promoting the field of education as a career choice for college students, and a greater understanding of the value of a college education to middle school through high school students.
This is accomplished by focusing
on the desired outcomes:
- Provide "college knowledge" information to school-age student groups
- Recruit students from diverse backgrounds for
the College of Education - Provide scholarships for students from diverse backgrounds in the College of Education
- Mentor, retain and graduate students of color
