About the Office of Cultural Diversty (OCD)

The Office of Cultural Diversity develops and manages programs for the purpose of promoting the field of education as a career choice for college students, and a greater understanding of the value of a college education to middle school through high school students.

This is accomplished by focusing on the desired outcomes:

  1. Provide "college knowledge" information to school-age student groups
  2. Recruit students from diverse backgrounds for
    the School of Education
  3. Provide scholarships for students from diverse backgrounds in the School of Education
  4. Mentor, retain and graduate students of color
