SCSU Today Farmers’ market connects campus and local growersMonday, October 26, 2009 The Atwood Memorial Center Farmers’ Market, a new collaboration between growers and the university, promoted sustainability, health and wellness by making locally grown foods available to students, employees and the community. The market, which offered vegetables, fruits and flowers and more, ran Mondays from Aug. 31 through Oct. 5. Eleven vendors including the St. Cloud State Community Garden and Sodexo Food Service participated.
