New educational administration and leadership doctorate

St. Cloud State this fall launched its second doctoral program, educational administration and leadership. The program enhances the administration and leadership skills of practicing school leaders in PK-12 institutions. The program joins a list of new College of Education opportunities including a master’s degree in educational administration and leadership; administrative licensure tracks for principal, superintendent, special education director and community education director; and specialist degree programs.
Students receive their doctorate after three years of coursework and a completed doctoral dissertation based on applied research.
Classes are offered primarily on weekends. The program is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
